REFRAMING PERSPECTIVE

a magazine.

REFRAMING PERSPECTIVE is a magazine, that questions our way of looking at our every day products and topics and asks us to reframe our perspective.

Each issue is taking a closer look at a product we use in our every day lives, that has a far more complex and interesting story to tell than we might think.

The main goal of our economic system is growth. Growth at any costs. Whether there is sufficient demand for an increase in production is initially not important. Demand can, if necessary, be artificially created. The result of this economic system is a overproduction of goods, which are at the same time unjustly distributed.

In a world in which there is actually enough for everyone, the gap between rich and poor and between winners and losers in the capitalistic economy is growing. But what kind of system is it that, which on the one hand produces so much and continues to grow, but at the same time leaves more and more people behind in poverty?

By gaining knowledge and intensively dealing with certain topics, we can take a different perspective on them and, through a new way of thinking, also re-understand them - and if necessary adapt our behavior. So I asked myself how I can give documentary photography and writing a space that can offer the opportunity for a critical examination and more intensive engagement with the topic, so that the topic is not only seen, but also understood and felt.
